
Pierre Lacombe
Pierre is the managing director of MHI Services. Currently, he focuses on:
- consulting services to homeowners, mortgage lenders and the legal profession on matters concerning dificient house construction and warranty claims.
- consulting and expert services in litigation concerning home inspections
- providing on-site training in inspection techniques to home inspectors
- providing technical services to private home inspectors
- Graduate of McGill University School of Engineering
- More than 30 years of construction experience
- The first home inspector in BC to be certified (1990).
- Founding member of the Canadian Association of Home Inspectors - BC Chapter
- Speaker and Presentor at the Canadian and American Home Inspection Seminars
- One of the first Building Envelope Experts, who concluded that building envelopes needed to be replaced, rather than fixed, at least 6 years before the Warren Commission Hearings.
- Qualified in BC Provincial and Supreme Court as a subject matter expert
Mark Fagrie
Senior home inspector at Metro Home Inspections, License # 48338.
- He was a Building and Facilities Maintenance Manager with a large food distributor (1989-1991)
- Mark is a graduate of BCIT Building Technology Program (1991)
- Mark is a senior building inspector with MHI Services since 1992.
- Mark is an instructor in the Home Inspection Education Program at BCIT
- He has provided educational seminars to Real Estate Companies and Mortgage Professionals.
- Mark has delivered Home Buyer Seminars to BCIT staff during Professional Development Days.
- He has provided training seminars to the Greater Vancouver Housing Authority.
- Completed Building Envelope Performance course at BCIT (2008)
